Muscle Knots and Muscle Spasms

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

A spasm is an unexpected, violent and involuntary contraction of muscle or group of muscles accompanied by sudden burst of pain which is generally harmless but may interfere with function. It produces involuntary movement and distortion but ceases after a few minutes.health

Spasms may occur due to disease, strain or injury to the muscle or nearby tissues. It could also be an impairment of circulation or disturbance of body chemistry which can be confined, severe or fairly generalized.

Painless or localized spasms are called tics. This involuntary movement of muscles, usually of the face, may seem to be a natural reaction or response to a certain stimulus but eventually, it will happen automatically even without any reason at all.

Spasmodic muscle contraction may also be due to a large number of medical conditions, however, including the dystonias.

Muscle spasms occur early after an injury takes place. It is characterized by a tightening of muscles in the area which could be painful at times but not always. Later on, when the basic injury is not fixed, muscle spasms
form muscle knots which are painful and become part of the problem. Often times, it is this pain from the muscle knots that pushes a person to seek treatment of the injury. This is the case with injuries to the neck and back.

Muscle knots, also known as myofascial trigger points in medical term, are abnormal areas within the muscle which cause pain. There is still not much information as to what muscle knots really are. However, doctors made some biopsy test by cutting a piece out of muscle knots and results showed that some abnormal protein deposits seemed to be present in the sample tissue. Some treating practitioners believe that there is excessive connective tissue in these areas, but there is little evidence in the (unfortunately few) studies that have been done to support the idea of excess connective tissue.

How to Become an Herbalife Distributor

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

Becoming an Herbalife Distributor may be easier than you think. The process is very simple and you have a host of resource options at your disposal. The company is structured in such a way that you will always have a direct up-line to an experienced distributor or sponsor. You will in other words have all the freedom of your own business combined with all the structure and expertise of a large corporation. Like other network marketing businesses, becoming an Herbalife Distributor allows you to get the products that you consume from them for a discounted rate.

Becoming an Herbalife Distributor

Before you sign up for Herbalife I would make sure that you choose to become an Herbalife Distributor because you like their products and not for the opportunity to get rich. Perhaps the most important aspect of becoming an Herbalife Distributor, or at least a successful one, is that you must love the products. I would recommend, if you haven’t already done so, that you do the following steps before you become and Herbalife Distributor:

1) Be a customer first Buy the product, use it for at least 30 days and see if it works for you and if you like how it makes you feel. If you don’t like it or you don’t like how it makes you feel then don’t become a distributor

2) Once you have been a customer and have become familiar with the product and decide that you would like to continue with it, simply call up the Herbalife Distributor that signed you up as a customer and tell them that you are ready to be an Herbalife Distributor.

What Do I Do Now That I am An Herbalife Distributor

So now that you know how to become an Herbalife Distributor what do you do to grow your business or where do you go from here? Many network marketing companies will tell you that you should market the opportunity end of the business because everyone wants to make a ton of money. I would tell you that this is a big mistake for many reasons that I don’t have time to mention. My advice to you is this-

-:Develop a two to three minute story of how the product has changed your life (this could be on a very small scale or a large scale it doesn’t matter)

-:Have a sincere enthusiasm for your Herbalife Products

-:Look for people who are interested in consuming the products that Herbalife offers instead of looking for people to just be Herbalife Distributors

This may sound a lot different than what you have been exposed to in the past but the reason that Herbalife was founded was to distribute the product and sell the product not the opportunity. Good luck in Herbalife and becoming an Herbalife Distributor.

Is Herbalife a Real Business?

Is Herbalife a scam or a real business for you to build on your own?HERBALIFE Akmal3

Herbalife is multilevel marketing company that is based on selling weight-loss and skin-care products. As such they have sought out the health and fitness market that is interested in supplemental products. Herbalife was founded in 1980, employs over 3500 people around the world. They have grown over the years and now are in over 70 countries and have almost 2 million independent distributors. Interestingly enough, you are able to purchase and utilize the products without the requirement to join their programs.

Product claims aside, this is still a marketing plan that relies on personal selling to family and friends and the need of a large down line. Is Herbalife a scam? I would not be able to find anything that solidly places this product in such a category. Their products are good and you get what you are paying for. The business is what you make it and as such depends on your efforts to recruit. You are also required to be able to complete and be comfortable with one on one sales presentations. These presentations may be in your home or a rented location.

But if you are looking for a way to build your own business, the most profitable way is to market online. The Internet is where you will find the most opportunity. So if you are not interested in the home parties and friends and family limitations, I suggest that you take a look at Big Ticket to Wealth.   David Johnson is working with the top Internet Marketing Mentors and is teaching others to build their own home based businesses. He wants to help you reach your goals and dreams and live your life to its fullest.

Think back to when you were a child and when during the summer months, the pinnacle of cookouts and family gatherings was always the cold juicy watermelon that was for desert. When you were young, eating watermelon was about taste, but now that you‘re older it‘s more than just taste that should inspire you to eat lots of watermelon each year when the season arises. This is because watermelons have tremendous health benefits that anyone who lives a healthy lifestyle should be determined to take advantage of every year. With that said, let‘s take a closer look at some of these health benefits this fruit has to offer.health

Health Benefit of Watermelons #1: Lycopene

Lycopene is an antioxidant found in most red-colored fruits, with the exception of a few, such as strawberries. Scientific studies have shown that Lycopene reduces the risk of prostate cancer and heart disease in people, especially men, the sex most prone to these diseases. Men who eat a diet high in lycopene are much less likely to suffer a heart attack then men who don‘t.

Health Benefit of Watermelons #2: Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 is an important attribute to have in a healthy diet because it promotes chemicals in the brain that help people to cope with anxiety and panic, two psychological disorders that are on the rise in America today.

Health Benefit of Watermelons #3: Vitamin C

If you thought oranges were the only fruit that could provide you with Vitamin C, think again. Vitamin C is important to not only being healthy, but remaining attractive all your life. Vitamin C boosts the immune system so that you get sick less often and it also slows down aging and medical conditions such as cataract.

Health Benefit of Watermelons #4: Vitamin A

Vitamin A works much like Vitamin C, in that it helps boost immunity, but it also help your body fight off infection. It also prevents blindness.
