Health Insurance
If there has ever been a lapse in your healthcare, you may have asked yourself, “Health insurance – do I really need it”? You may be thinking, why spend all that money on health insurance? My answer to you this is: Would you rather spend a couple hundred dollars for an unexpected trip to the hospital or a couple thousand? You never know when an accident might happen. You never know when you may fall unexpectedly ill. The harsh reality is, life is full of twists and turns. Never think ‘it won’t happen to me’, because it can.
As a matter of fact, research shows not having health insurance causes 18,000 deaths a year. Studies show uninsured people have a greater risk of dying from a disease than those that are insured. That, my friend, is called gambling with your life. Maybe you are thinking ‘oh no, I am in my twenties, nothing bad will ever happen to me’. Well that is where you would be wrong. People in their twenties may be healthier than older people, but you are certainly not invincible.
Did you know medical bills are the number one cause of bankruptcy? One day you are doing fine, then that unexpected emergency happens without medical insurance and the next thing you know you are going bankrupt. What if all you really needed was basic coverage to help you with your bills. You do not have to get all fancy when it comes to health insurance. Even having basic coverage now can save you lots of money later.
